Appearance:

Density:

The density of color-coated tiles typically ranges from 2.5 to 3.5 g/cm³, depending on the base material (such as steel or aluminum) and the thickness of the coating. For example, tiles made from galvanized steel sheets with a polyester coating have a density closer to 3.0 g/cm³, making them lightweight yet strong.

Melting point:

The melting point of the base material (steel or aluminum) used in color-coated tiles is relatively high, generally between 600-1500℃. However, the coating itself has a lower thermal tolerance, typically up to 200-300℃. This makes the product suitable for normal environmental temperatures but unsuitable for extreme heat exposure.

Coefficient of thermal expansion:

The coefficient of thermal expansion is moderate, depending on the base metal. For example, steel-based color-coated tiles have a thermal expansion coefficient of about 11-12×10⁻⁶/℃. This allows the tiles to maintain dimensional stability under varying temperature conditions, reducing the risk of warping or cracking.

Thermal conductivity:

Corrosion resistance:

Color-coated tiles exhibit excellent corrosion resistance due to the protective coating applied to the base metal. Chemical stability:

In general, color-coated tiles are chemically stable and resist reactions with common chemicals such as acids, alkalis, and solvents. However, prolonged exposure to highly corrosive substances, such as strong acids or alkalis, may degrade the coating over time.

Passivation:

Although not applicable in the same way as stainless steel, color-coated tiles achieve similar protection through their coating process. The coating undergoes curing and hardening treatments to form a dense, durable layer that resists environmental damage. Special additives in the coating enhance its resistance to UV radiation and chemical attack.
